Today we went to the Carolina Balloon Festival here in Statesville. It was a really fun time. My Dad is here visiting with us, so he got to enjoy it as well. We walked through a field where balloons were laid out all around us, going up in mass ascension. We had fun taking pictures, running around, watching the balloons wobble back and forth before getting off the ground, and of course ice cream and funnel cakes too.
