I do not know what the Lord has in store for me and my family especially since we moved away from TN, my home of 30 years. In June of 2008 we moved to North Carolina where our lives continued with everyday trials and triumphs. Now two years later, we find ourselves again in new place, Evansville, Indiana. The following words are just a journal of the events, emotions, and every day sort of things that have happened along our way.

Excited?
This is so much harder than I remember. My oldest daughter asked me today if I was excited about having another baby. My response was mostly out of defense. I explained to her that when a woman gets pregnant she usually feels sick and very tired and it is hard to think about a baby when you're sick all the time. But that should pass at some point and then it would be easier to be excited. Her reaction was perfect. She didn't give me any sympathy that I was looking for, nor did she waiver in her tone but simply said, "Well, I'm excited, Mommy, I can't wait." Thank you Lord, for her gentle spirit and her anticipation, something I lack at the moment.
