Well you can officially call us chicken farmers now. My husband always amazes me at the things he can figure out. Today he completed the chicken coop in our backyard.
You may remember that we are on our second batch of chickens as the first six were taken by a predator. We think it was probably a racoon or maybe a stray cat. Now we are onto our second batch but this time we had to purchase 25. We have lost two over the past week, so we now have 23 chickens. Up until this point we have been moving them in and out of the garage each morning and night. But now they have a fine, safe coop to call home.
